▲A '''library''' is a community building found in ''[[The Sims 3]]'' that allows Sims to read books, but not bring them home. Every single book in the game is here, with the exception of the cooking, fishing, and guitar books. If a player gets their Sims to write a novel, then when it is completed it is often seen on the shelves of the library. The library in [[Sunset Valley]] is known as '''Papyrus Memorial Library'''. The name refers to Papyrus, the first paper-like material, and the origin of the word Paper. Papyrus is no longer used, hence why it is a memorial. The library in Riverview is smaller, and named the '''Wright Reading Room'''.

▲Libraries could be made in [[The Sims]] and [[The Sims 2]], but they were just classified as standard community lots. In the Sims 3, they can be classified as libraries.
