This is a playable career, so you have to keep watching over people in the sea of the beach you are working on. For this career, you have to improve your athletic and charisma skills, other than doing jobs at the beaches to improve your job performance. If you are a rank 10 lifeguard and save 35 sims, you'll be rewarded a title of an uncharted island!
This job will always take place on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday regardless of what level you are on. Jobs might not occur on these days if it's one of the festival days (see [[The Sims 3: Seasons]]).
