If the ''FreeTime'' expansion pack has been added, the first Lifetime Want realized by a Sim will contribute to that Sim's [[Aspiration bar#Lifetime Aspiration|Lifetime Aspiration]] score, but will not create perma-plat status unless the Sim is close to maxing out his or her Lifetime Aspiration Meter. It will, however, max out the Sim's [[aspiration bar]], and cause that platinum aspiration to decay very slowly.
==Toddlers and Children With Lifetime Wants==
In general, toddlers and children having lifetime wants is a sign of neighborhood corruption; the only exception, barring editing with SimPE, would be the ones in [[Desiderata Valley]]. If this happens in any other neighborhood, it means that it will soon become unplayable.
 
Neighborhood corruption can be caused by:
 
*Messing with certain NPCs that were not meant to be made playable([[Mrs. Crumplebottom]] or [[Unsavory Charlatan]], for example) - this will corrupt the installation as well
 
*Deleting sims from the simbin
 
*Deleting urns or tombstones without a hack that prevents unlinking upon deletion
 
*Moving occupied lots to the simbin
 
*Moving sims between neighborhoods
 
*Installing expansion packs without moving all content out of the downloads folder first
