LoFi Audio is a Sim company which makes basic "boom box" stereos. Products by LoFi appear in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. The Sims 2 has the Compact Stereo by Lo-Fi Audio, which sells for §99. The Sims 3 has the Audio Lite by LoFi Audio, which sells for §150. All of the stereos made by Lo-Fi Audio are portable.
