Lots and houses bin, found in the '''library''', is accessible by entering [[Edit Town]] mode. ''[[The Sims 3]]'' comes with 15 empty premade houses in the lots and houses bin that can be placed in any world. It also features a single park as a community lot. Additional houses and venues can be imported from a world they're set in. This is done by clicking on one with the select tool and pressing the "Save to Copy Library" button. Unlike in ''The Sims 2'', lots from the bin require can't be set anywhere freely; an accommodating empty lot of sufficient size is required. Likewise, empty lots cannot be stored to the bin. Lots place from and saved to the bin will remain put.
