Magic reagent
Magic reagents are items used by witches to cast spells. Sims can obtain them in two ways:
- Craft them with a cauldron.
- Buy from the high witch with the same alignment as the Sim's.

- Dragon Scales - Scales given from an Elder Dragon. (neutral)
- Mystic Dust - Mystic Stone turned to dust. (neutral)
- Crystalized Moonbeams - A moonbeam turned perfectly into stone. (good)
- Essence of Light - The essence of a star in a vile. (good)
- Viper Essence - Essence taken from a Viper. (evil)
- Eye of Newt - Eyes take from a baby Newt. (evil)

If Good Witch sits on Throne of Light, his/her needs will go up, while th Evil Witch's needs will go down. On the other hand, if Evil Witch sits on Claw of Darkness Throne, his/her needs will go up, while the Good Witch's needs will go down.
Casting Spells without reagents.
There is a mod in Mod the Sims that makes spells castable without reagents.
In other words no reagents needed for spells.
