Magicians were re-introduced into the game following [[The Sims 3/Patch 8|patch 1.8.25]], but cannot be hired by Sims to entertain party guests. Instead, they can be seen wandering around the park in the afternoon hours with their magician outfit.
It can be difficult to engage a Magician in conversation, because they tend to vanish just before a Sim reaches them. This does not always happen, and it is possible to talk to a Magician in the park. The glitches surrounding the offspring of Magicians have been fixed, so it is now safe to [[WooHoo]] with them.
