Melanie is friends with her daughter and grandson. She has not learned any skills yet, however, it is said that she to be an excellent gardener when she was younger and that she loves cooking to her grandson. She is also quite old-fashioned since she doesn't understand Girbits' computer games. Her hair is brown but her eyebrows are grey which means she may have dyed it. In her inventory, she carries a [[book]] and, if ''[[Generations]]'' is installed, she may carry a [[walking cane]] in it as well.
