He lives in an inexpensive [[Sunset Valley]] house with his father [[Iqbal Alvi|Iqbal]] and teen brother [[VJ Alvi|VJ]]; his mother is said to have ran away and she does not appear on Alvi's family tree. Being both friends with his big brother [[VJ Alvi|VJ]] and good friends with their father [[Iqbal Alvi|Iqbal]] Miraj often finds himself playing the role of mediator. He wishes that his brother would stop giving their dad such a hard time and is constantly trying to make the two make amends.<ref>He gets along well with both his brother and his father and is the mediator in the family.</ref>

At the start of the game, Miraj has only 2 days before becoming a teen and is a C student in Elementary School. When you first play his family he doesn't have any skill points. He has a baseball and the children's book "Where's Bella?" in his inventory. Miraj is the only pre-created child in Sunset Valley who uses voice track number two.
