===The Sims===
In this game, "Freeall" is the only money cheat. While on the main menu, press and hold L2 + L1 + R1 + R2 (PS2), L+R (Xbox), Left + Right (GCN) to unlock the cheat menu. Once there, the player types in "Freeall", which makes everything in the game free.

===The Sims: Bustin' Out===
In this game, the money cheat can be enabled by typing in the Cheat Gnome code, as well as the Money Code. The code gives §2,000 per press.

===The Urbz: Sims In The City===
As with the previous game, the money cheat can be enabled by typing in the Cheat Gnome code, as well as the money code. The code gives §1,000 per press.

===The Sims 2===
Like the previous 2 titles, the player types in a code for the Cheat Gnome (called Cheat Trophy in this title), and then types the money code. The code gives §9,999 per press, which caps at §999,999.

===The Sims 2 Pets===
Unlike the previous game, the player does not need a Gnome code. Instead, they simply type in the Money Cheat using their gamepad. The code gives §10,000 per use, and caps at §999,999.

===The Sims 2 Castaway===
Money cheats do not appear in this title.

===The Sims 3===
In this game, the cheat gnome returns in the form of a buyable item named "Spoot". The player pauses the game and enters the code, where a message will pop up saying cheat mode is active. Upon buying the gnome, the money cheat is available from the gnome. Activating cheat mode will cause Trophies and Achievements to be locked in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

===The Sims 3 Pets===
The same as before, entering the code will disable trophies and achievements, but will allow the money cheat to be used.
