The '''Murphy bed''' is a type of [[bed]] introduced in ''[[The Sims 2: Apartment Life]]'' and reintroduced in ''[[The Sims 3: University Life]]''. The bed folds into the wall to save space. However, when closed, the tiles it would use if opened are still considered to be in use. While Sims are able to walk through that space, objects cannot be placed in that space without using the [[moveobjects]] cheat.
