The '''Murphy "hide away" bed''' is a type of [[bed]] introduced in ''[[The Sims 2: Apartment Life]]'' [[expansion pack]]. The bed folds into the wall as to save space in the small apartments that are added with the game. However, when closed, the tiles it would use if opened are still considered to be in use. While Sims are able to walk through that space, objects cannot be placed in that space without using the [[moveobjects]] cheat. When the cheat is used to place an item in that space, it will probably show through the bed unless the item is small enough to go unnoticed.
