The maximum amount of the power consumption depends on the household size of this following:
*1-2 Sims: -200 power unit
*3-4 Sims: -250 power unit
*5-6 Sims: -300 power unit
*7-8 Sims: -350 power unit
 
If the power consumption exceeds the maximum amount, the household will be fined for §100 every 9 AM.
 
Every Thursday from 9 AM to 9 PM, the household power utility will be shut off. Sims can still use it as long as there's power surplus.
 
Power bills are discounted by 50%.
