Pet trait (The Sims 3): Difference between revisions

Pets from ''The Sims 3: Pets'' have their own unique traits that are not available to Sims. On the other hand, Sim's traits for Sims are not available either to Pets either. There is a total of 30 pet traits. Some petPet traits arecan be unique to one, two or twoall three species (pets), for example [[Nimble]] which is a horse-only trait, or [[Loyal]] which is a dog-only trait, [[Anxious]] is cat and dog's trait, and [[Playful]] is a trait for all kinds.

Pet Traits work like Sim traits, by defining a pet's personality and fitting the pet's reactions to it. After picking three traits for your pet, youthe player can train behaviors so they can develop a "trained" trait.

Sim can train their pet behaviors,. ifIf the pet havehas been trained good enough they willcan develop a "trained" trait. theThe difference withbetween athe normalusual pet trait is only a highlighted green box around the new trait andicon. thoseTrained trained traittraits can be lost if sima Sim traintrains their pet the opposite behaviors. It is possible for a pet to have more than 5 traits.

*Since [[Horse]]s are not featured onin [[The Sims 3: Pets (Console)]], all pet traittraits that are exclusive for horses will not be available on [[Thethe Simsconsole 3: Pets (Console)]]version.

*Pets created in CAS can have up to 3 traits, If the player buybuys the Attitude Adjustment [[Lifetime reward]] they can add 2 more traittraits, in which sothe total thatnumber petof willtraits haveis 5 trait.

*If a pet with more than 5 traits moves to another cityworld, they will lose all their "trained" traits. Only the first 5 traits on the pet's bio list will still remain.
