There is speculation that she is related to [[Sofia Carlton]], as Pixie and Sofia are the only Carltons known to exist in town. While is it not explicitly stated that they are related, it is certainly plausible for players to view them as related. It is possible that Sofia inherited her fortune from Pixie, and Pixie was subsequently killed by the Rackets in an attempt to secure the fortune and prevent Sofia from obtaining it.
