The house itself is disguised by a cloaking device which creates an illusion of a house; this illusion can be walked through in order to reach the real house. (Behind the house is a crater left when XY-XY crashed in the title sequence. The crater holds the remains of the spacecraft, which is beaming up to ground level, as if projecting itself onto land in order to preserve itself.)
