Plumbots can enter the competition even without [[Trait Chips|trait chips]] installed to them. However, while they are in the competition, their Needs will decrease. So, it's best to enter with high quality. And after the competition, Sims or Plumbots won't be enter unless they are in a cool state.

The BattleBot competitions require [[Athletic (skill)|Athletic skill]], Bot Building competitions require [[Bot Building|Bot Building skill]], and EmotiBotting Competitions require [[Charisma|Charisma skill]]. And each of them have difficulties: Beginner, Advanced and International. Competing at higher levels such as Advanced or International requires the Limitless Learning Trait Chip (for Plumbots only) as well as certain amount of Skill (for Plumbots and Sims) based on the type of Competition.
