'''Protests''' are a gameplay feature in ''[[The Sims 3]]''. Protests can only happen at [[City hall]], and happen randomly. Players are able to join protests at any time, but it's unlikely that anybody will join if the protest goes on after eleven o' clock at night. It is apparent that a protest is for something, as represented by the images on the protest boards. The images on the poster boards are always random. Protests have no impact on gameplay, however.
