Resource

Resources are introduced in The Sims Castaway Stories. They have replaced Simoleons. There are many ways to get resources:

• Chopping wood.
• Smashing rocks with an pickaxe.
• Gathering metal parts.
• Cutting grass and bamboo.
• Collecting skeleton bones.
• Going to work (this also brings food).
• Selling things.

Trivia

• When Sims are playing poker they use Resources.
• When a Sim is tipping a maid or a nanny, he/she's handing money (probably Simoleons) but it says that those are resources.
  • Though when a Sim is paying clothes or food on a community lot he's/she's handing out colorful stones which might be how Recources look like.
• The Recources icon resembles a treasure trunk.
