In The Sims ''Bustin' Out'' he lives at [[2 Free Street]] with Peter, Woody, and Ziggy. In ''The Sims'' he has a fourth roommate, Randy, who is absent from The Sims Bustin' Out version.
Unlike ''The Sims Bustin' Out'' Rod this one is very different in dressing and attitude. In The Sims he's dressed up as a cowboy from the west and has a very different texture to his features.
Unlike his cowboy-self from ''The Sims'' this Rod is a bit of a gangster as well as being a true simmie. He's dressed in casual clothing like he's about to go hang out with his friends in town with hair spiked orange-red to impress the ladies. He's a bit rude at first but once your sim gets to know him he's a true friend.
