Vincent abruptly refuses, angering Samantha. She then tries to ruin Vincent's chances of finding love (even with his new interest, [[Naomi Hunt]]). She eventually marries Vincent's business rival, [[Johnny Cullen]]. Her "dream" marriage is short lived as by the end of the story they are divorced.
