The Science Laboratory returns in ''The Sims 4: Get to Work'' as a secret lot only entered through Sims of the Science active Career. Here Sims can enter the building and do a multitude of activties such as creating Serums, Inventions, Analysis's and talk to Co-workers. Co-Workers have special Interactions with the Active Sim at the workplace, the Sim the player uses to go to work can ask Co-workers for Metals or Crystals. To which supplies the Sim with a random type of Metal or Crystal which can be used in an Invention.
