Sometines, a Simfest is held where performing Sims compete against each other. After each entry show, the proprietor can be seen interacting with the stage, calling out every contestent and asking the audience to give a round of applase. The player can send their active Sims to the lot to watch the event, or even partake in it.
During a show, the player has various options to interact with the performer as their spectating Sim. By clicking on the stage or performer, the player can have their Sim make a request (for a song or act), heckle or respond to the performer in a certain way, and throw stuff at them. The stuff, which costs [[simoleon]]s, that can be thrown includes certain food, ingredients, vegetables, fruit, and household items. The performer may receive these items, with them appearing in their [[inventory]].
