Sims can get drinks from sinks, which can be used to lower their body [[temperature]] on a hot day.{{vgversion|TS2:S}} Babies can be [[hygiene|bathed]] in the sink by older Sims. If a [[medicine cabinet]] is placed in front of a sink, Sims will be able to brush their teeth and wash their face using the sink.
If [[testing cheats]] are enabled, shift-clicking allows the player to forcefully break or make it dirty, as well as set it to maintenance level.
