It has been going strong since it first opened on April 25, 2003. It now features regular updates on upcoming [[Expansion Pack|expansion packs]], [[patch notes|patches]] and bonus content. It runs regular polls for its users to see what they think concerning various Sims issues.

It has a most excellent ''[http://www.snootysims.com/infoindex.php?id=infocenter The Sims 2 Infocenter]'' with lists detailing everything from careers and scholarships to spells and reagents. It also features a few select custom content downloads and some very useful build mode guides.

As of September 7, 2011, Sims 2 content is no longer linked to in the left-hand sidebar. However, The Sims 2 Infocenter is still there, and the link given above still works.
