'''Social classes''' are groups of [[townie]]s introduced in ''[[The Sims 2: Apartment Life]]''. They consist of [[Gearhead]]s, [[Bohemian]]s, [[Social class#Jocks|Jock]]s, [[Tech]]s, and [[Socialite]]s.
Every lot is categorized in a low, medium, or high class. The class depends on how expensive the objects on the lot, how high the lot class surrounding the lot, how big the lot, and how many households consist in the lot if the lot is [[Residential lot|residential]]. The class determines which social class townie will appear more often and mingle there.
