Swings are often found on community lots in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. They seem to be addicting to Sims; when available, they will go by free-will and swing on it, and if someone else is already on the swing, then the Sim will push the other Sim's swing.

Swings can be bought in the Buy Mode. Several swings placed side-by-side connect to become a swing set.

Using the swings can satisfy a Sims Fun need, and Social when pushed or pushing.
