Swings are often found on community lots in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. They seem to be addictive to Sims. When swings are available, Sims will often autonomously go to swing on them, or to push another Sim who is using them.

Swings can be bought in the Buy Mode. Several swings placed side-by-side connect to become a swing set.

Using the swings can satisfy a Sims Fun need, and Social when pushed or pushing.
