Swings return in ''[[The Sims 4: Seasons]]'' and ''[[The Sims 4: Island Living]]''. They can be used by any Sims aged child to elder. Sims can swing alone, swing together, or push someone on the swing for fun. Sims may autonomously choose to sit in a swing while having a conversation, but there is no option to manually direct them to sit there.
Unlike previous games, swings only come in sets of two, and more swings can't be attached to the sides. Adding swings to a [[park]] will fulfill the "playground equipment" venue requirement.
The ''Island Living'' swings have a fun score of 10, but the ''Seasons'' swings have no listed fun score, which is likely an oversight.
