The more time Sims spend gardening, fishing or working in their own business, the more experience they gain. This is expressed through the talent badges Bronze, Silver and Gold. Once a Sim reaches a Gold Badge he or she will not make many mistakes in that category and the work will go faster when they finally learn how to do it effectively.
