All that sounds really close to her being based on Rebecca Black, it does not matter on if they don't look a like. How many TS3 teenagers are there that live not with relatives but with friends\roommates? I only know about her, Benni Hennessey, Rain Leary (in the XBOX and PSP versions only, tho.), Lil' Bling, and sorta River McIrish, who lives with her adoptive mom. (some people think River and Gobias are adopted but the only way in TS3 basegame to see which sims are adopted, is to see in the family bio.)
