:That could well be. I've always thought of her as "legally dead", and I wouldn't be surprised if they had to tag her with the "I Am Dead" token so she wouldn't appear on community lots. However, the grandparents thing can't be why she's treated as dead. Sure, for a base-game Sim, it's unusual enough to be noteworthy, but it's not going to ''cause'' the game to treat her as dead.
