:I've done reinstallation for a number of times, and it always started with base game, then ''Apartment Life'', and then ''University'' through ''FreeTime''. No such glitches ever happened to me. I've installed several expansion packs on a computer (not the one I usually use) starting with ''Seasons'', then ''University'', ''Free Time'', ''Bon Voyage'' and ''Pets''. After I'd loaded the game for the first time since installing the expansion packs, I installed ''Nightlife''. All the content from the other expansion packs work fine but ''Nightlife'' fails to show it's hairstyles, items and clothing correctly on screen. I plan on purchasing the sims 3 soon for my b-day, they have the base game on Amazon. I don't trust the download versions from other game sites (including the pirate bay--many people recommended to NOT to use that site.....) it lead to many '''viruses from others that posted it on youtube''', and I heard it is more "complicated" or harder to install... so... this is my '''first time''' ''Italic text''buying the disc for pc...I use Microsoft windows 7 '''I really don't know what to do'''... can anyone help me and show me what to do when using the base game? is it simple or hard? :You insert the TS3 disc into the disk drive. Afterwards there is an installation process that the game will take through itself. You will have to click a few options when needed, but the installation is very easy. I also do not recommend ejecting the disc when the game is installing. :You will need the disc to play the game. When you purchase expansion packs, you use the '''LATEST''' expansion pack to play the game.
