I plan on purchasing the sims 3 soon for my b-day, they have the base game on Amazon. :You insert the TS3 disc into the disk drive. Afterwards there is an installation process that the game will take through itself. You will have to click a few options when needed, but the installation is very easy. I also do not recommend ejecting the disc when the game is installing.
