I do not think this is correct. On my Sims 1 game, there are no family relations. I made an adult male and female and a child, but the game did not recognize the two adults as a couple and they were unable to even sleep in the same bed together. I think you would have to marry them in game. Also, it would be cool if this site wrote an article about how to make custom sims 1 skins, since the CAS in the first game is not very advanced. :In ''The Sims'', all adults living in the same household are in an interesting position: they all have the same surnames, they are all considered to be the parent of every child in the household, and although they can fall in love, they cannot marry. Marriage in ''The Sims'' can only occur between two opposite-sex adults living in different households, but the end result is no different from two same-sex adults living in different household asking one or the other to move in; they'll move into the actively played household, change their surname to match, and are considered to be family members in-game.
:As for two adult Sims sharing a bed, that is not determined by whether or not they are married, but rather their relationship with each other. If the two have a good relationship with each other, they'll share a bed even if they're not in love.
