: It's only partially true. While you can't reach elder stage by normal means (Sims will die of old age after reaching the end of adult stage), you can age them to elders using objects such as Tombstone of L&D, SimModder or InSimenator. Surprisingly, they will work without any problems or glitches and exactly like regular elders in TS2 (they will have proper voices, proper clothing, animations and interactions, death of old age and even the life stage bar will look and work properly). ◊³Patko0770◊³ 16:28, March 15, 2014 (UTC)

==Sims 3 and 4 Old Age==
How does an Old Age death work in Sims 3 and 4? What system does each game use to determine when they die? In Sims 3, I have seen some Elders die on Day 90, while other times, I have seen them reach up to 116 days. Also, how many days do the Marathon Runner challenge and Vegetarian traits add? Last of all, what is the minimum number of days the Elder stage can last in Sims 4? [[User:Trialman|Trialman]] ([[User talk:Trialman|talk]]) 22:33, January 31, 2016 (UTC)
