I've added the weights and base prices for the various fish, as per the Fishing XML data in the GameplayData.package (at Instance 0x90142107481DE889 for those interested). However, I haven't located the modifiers based on the -Quality- of the fish caught, so if anyone is able to find this out... as it is, the upper and lower prices may be off based on the quality level of the fish caught. The XML shows
<BoxItems>
<ItemDbName>OmniPlantSeed</ItemDbName>
<Happy>True</Happy>
<RelativeProbability>0</RelativeProbability>

Hence, in an unmodded game it will be impossible to fish out the seed.

== I am SAD ==
Hello folks... I totally disagree with the modification you made! I made the article "frog" and I was and am against "merge"...
Why?! Why it merged? And the photographs, the factsheet?

==Vampire Fish==

It is so weird, the bait for vampire fish is garlic, but garlic should make them try to get away from the hook. I mean, I guess while trying to choose what a vampire fish's bait would be, they chose garlic because they thought it was the closest thing that has anything to do with vampires. They should make a patch that changes the bait to Plasma Fruit (adding the fruit, but not vampires to base game).--[[w:c:sims:User:Eduardog3000|Eduardog]][[User_Talk:Eduardog3000|3000]] 01:31, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

== Weight ==

Are these weights accurate? The death fish is listed as having a max weight of 80, but my sim (angler, master fisherman, both challenges completed) has caught over 100 death fish, the heaviest of which is 109.93 kg.

== Robot Fish ==

How can a sim hold a Robot Fish if it weighs more than him or do Sims weigh 1250+ :D [[User:Contractas1|Contractas1]] 15:28, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

==Fish table==
The table gets messier and messier... Should we divide it into 2 separate tables? ==IP Fish==
I don't know why fish from ''Island Paradise'' keep getting added over and over... We haven't had the exact information about the new fish in IP (the previews from various sites never bothered to find this out). We're not sure either if these fish are actually collectable or just plain accessories in the ocean (we know catchable fish like Tragic Clownfish appear in the ocean, but not the other way around). All the details are also conjectural. ==Death fish level requirement==
When I edited the [http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Ambrosia?diff=585523&oldid=578570 skill requirements for cooking an ambrosia], I forgot to reference the skill requirement for catching a death fish in this page; I used the information in ambrosia page instead. It turns out there was a little mistake on my statement. Cooking an ambrosia does require level 10 of Cooking, Fishing, and Gardening skills. I added that death fish can be caught with level 7 of Fishing skill, but as I checked the game files, it was actually 10. I think some information in [[ambrosia]] has been incorrect and misleading all this time. == Level to use bait ==

I was able to use regular (not live) bait at only level 2 fishing. Either there's an error on the chart or my game is bugging somewhat. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by [[User:73.9.172.177|73.9.172.177]] ([[User talk:73.9.172.177|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/73.9.172.177|contribs]]) 17:06, September 30, 2018‎ (UTC) - [[Help:Signatures|Please sign your comments with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>]]</small>
