The game XML files only show 6 types of new grapes, which are all found in France. In total, 10 new plants have been added, all of which can be used in Nectar making, up from 6 in the base game.
If there are 8 new grapes, the 2 yet to be discovered ones cannot be planted as per normal. Hence, the part about 8 new grapes has been removed.
