== Random Moodlet ==
Is anyone getting the random moodlet "world at ease" even though you or the household have not interacted with a genie at all? This has happened to one of my Sims twice and I don't know if a Sim in the neighborhood is even interacting with a genie when story progression is on. When I resurrected my Sim, he came out with different personalities, similar to when we try to resurrect them via Resurrect-O-Nomitron, with hefty sum of price. This means that the way Genie resurrects is similar to that, although there are 3 possibilities of result, not 4 (There's possibly no chance that the Sim is failed to be resurrected). This leads me to speculation that there's no such thing is failure wishes. Everything is just possibility, or mere side effects. :The wish to resurrect may be a special case, in which there are three possible outcomes instead of two. It could be that they basically re-used the resurrection routines from the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, but with no ability for the player to control which one is used. I think getting a zombie can be defined as "negative", since the presumend intent of the wish is to bring the Sim back ''alive''. :::::I guess so. Long ago, my Sim was once resurrected as a zombie. But now, no matter how many times I resurrect my Sims in my test hood, none of them came out as a zombie. Either I was unlucky at that time, or something broke my game, I have no Genie mod. I wish someone would make a research about Genie like Cyjon or MATY, or I wish I could. :/ Wish not granted. OK maybe someone can cite where they are getting this upposedly definitive information about Genie's Gender's being based on the Sim that summoned them? ::I think more information is needed. I don't have the game, so I can't check, but it is possible that the probability of getting a male or female is weighted, so that it isn't completely determined by the summoner's gender, but is strongly influenced by it. :::At least for me, in the attempts I've done they came out about a 50/50 ratio male/female. I wont say it might not be weighted but I definitely dont think it's based directly off the Gender. Of course I cant look into the coding or anything so I can only do Trial and error. For all I know I got an anomaly with each Genie which made it come out differently then it was "Suppose" to. ::::From my own experience, I had a female sim spawn a male genie, as well as a female spawning a female genie. Chances are it is 50/50, but I think I'll do some more tests. I noticed that my Genie couldn't get soaked in the rain even when he hasn't used his umbrella for a couple of seconds. ==Kids and the Lamp in ''FreeTime''==
I just had a family with a child receive the Lamp, and it appears to be clickable when the kid is selected. Also, the kid rolled a want to make a wish, which implies that they are able to make at least some wishes. ==Weatherproof==
I'm almost very certain that genies in ''Showtime'' are impervious to any weather elements, including temperature. I've never paid enough attention to my genie since I'm playing an overstuffed family, and genies can definitely take care of themselves. The thing is, I've never seen my genie having any temperature-related moodlets. Not to mention they don't need umbrellas since they can't get soaked. Does the Fertility Treatment Lifetime Reward stack with the large family wish? I was just wondering. Or it could not have any effect since it would result in triplets every time.
