I didn't download any families or anything. My sim was pregnant and was going to have a baby. During her pregnancy, I switched over to another family and played them for a few days. When I saw in the family timeline that my Sim had her baby, I went to go play with her. When I loaded her family, the baby was no where to be seen. I couldnt find the baby ANYWHERE! :It's strange, because normally the game would restrict you from changing your game or family's state while you're undergoing a travel, such as going to Edit Town or even saving. I don't have any suggestion for you other than quitting without saving. I had this exact same issue, with slight differences. I travelled to the future with my bot-builder and my family plumbot (2 total sims) to gather some necessities from the Bot Emporium. However, I scrolled out into town view to click the action to go to Emporium before my sims stepped through the portal. I noticed that there was no option when I clicked it. I returned to look at the portal, and though it continues making the sound as though someone is going to come through, no one does. I have no sims in my panel, no wish/aspirations, and I have absolutely no options no matter what I click, even with testingcheatsenabled true activated. I am going to return to my last save, which I wish was more recent, but I would appreciate an unofficial patch to solve this, if possible. 23:35, July 3, 2014 (UTC) Pandora

EDIT: I loaded my last save and attempted this again, without scrolling out. The house takes several minutes to load and my two sims are still not showing up at all, much less any option to do anything. I have all expansion and stuff packs and no mods. I have travelled back and forth with two to five family members no problem before, they have just never been in this combination. The only real differencei s that I have moved to a new house and placed a new portal... it never showed in the game with the time traveller, so I had previously set it from buy mode and summonded the time traveller. When I moved I deleted the old one from that property and activated the new one that I had placed. I am going to try and go back and summon the traveller rather than activating it. I will update. EDIT : Thought that I would do one last edit. I completely exited and re-launched my game, returned to an older save, tried going to the portal on my old lot, tried changing the sims that I was bringing, and brought my sims down to one... I also called forth Emit and went through the questline to change the future from normal to utopian and tried again with just one sim... to no avail. Even when loading my only previous two saves, the game looks different and will sometimes cast a random red light on shadowing, on and around my lot exterior. All of this time-travelling trouble only happened when I changed to my new home/lot, but I when clicking the portal on my previous lot the command will cancel almost immediately, before the sim even takes a step. I no longer have a save of my family living in their old lot. Unlike before, the portal is not glowing nor making a single sound. Im not sure how to proceed, now. I transferred my last plumbot to the previous family that I had split into another household, and the newer, better, plumbot has no trait chips, and I am out of nanites and supplies. I attempted to merge my old plumbot back, but his previous trait chips are non-existant, something I have noticed with previous plumbots that I have sold/gave. At this point having a plumbot, and really 'Into the Future' is completely pointless, as I cannot utilize any of it randomly, without any game update or computer changes or anything happening. I also tried deleting all caches and reloading, to no change whatsoever. This is frustrating, and I may just have to scrap my bot-building dad and his davinci-aspiring wife and their kids for a new family. I am reluctant to do so after all of the visa points I have accumulated from travelling. This has never been an issue until I moved them, but I do not have the last save. I've been having this crazy glitch latley on my game, and its very very very irratiting. So I have the University,Supernatural,Ambitions, and Island Paradise expansion packs, and whenever I play any game and create sims, they all turn into vampires. I did the 'testingcheatsenabled true' cheat and edited my sim to a human and they still turned into a vampire, and I never got the option at the science facility for a cure, and the only way I found to get rid of it is if their "lover" asks them to forsake it, '''''BUT''''' it only works when my sim is in moonlight falls (The place that came with supernatural.) I have a Pregnancy glitch my sim never changed to pregnancy clothes or stomach growth and every 10 seconds the game will show her completely still and arm out stretched like she is holding and infant. I gave up and stopped playing that family and played a new family I had copied the family because if a experiment with my scientist changed my sims to plant sims there would be to families plant Sims and normal sims after I played the plant sims copy it kept crashing over and over again every half hour so finally after saving every time my sims went to bed I'd save but it kept my progress but the glitch is super annoying please help also my expansions seasons pets and university life for sims 3

: I had a similar issue to the first one, but it didn't happen until after her son became a toddler. This particular bug is a green scarab because the animation anomaly causes the sim to stop walking all the time. There is a simple fix though, going into the console and using the command ''resetsim Firstname Lastname''. I use testingcheatsenabled true for the maxmotive affect you can get by clicking "make needs static". I don't even really enjoy the game without it, but almost immediatly after I enable it and try making a different sim active it won't let me change it. Like, say I have two sims in a household, Billy and Bob. Billy is active, I type in testingcheatsenabled and switch to Bob, but Billy's face and info is still at the bottom instead of Bob's and his actions are still shown. When I click for him to do something, however, Bob's face shows up in the little float thingy and he'll do an action that I want him to, but he doesn't have a queue or any other info.
It's so frustrating. Not even two minutes into the game and I have to save and quit, reopen, save and quit. : That sounds annoying. Try putting the cheat on and switch to a new household. If Bob walks past as a neighbor, shift-click on him and choose 'Make Selectable'. It should show Bob's information, then shift-click agin and choose 'Make Unselectable'. Go back to Bob and Billy's house and see if it worked. Sometimes there is the occasional glitch where a Sim will reject another Sim for engagement or going steady in the Sims 2 outright, even if both their daily and lifetime relationships are at +100 and they are best friends and in love with each other. This happened to me with Romeo and Juliette. In the end I had to add Juliette to the Monty household (which for some reason stopped the glitch) so that one could successfully propose to the other. Ok, so I have Pets, Generations, World Adventures, Late Night, Supernatural, and literally yesteryday Island Paradise.
So I have my nice resort, and such. I decided to adopt a cat for my sims, let call the kitty Dink and my sims Adam. Adam kept feeding him treats, it kept popping up "Dink doesn't seem hungry,"
I decided it was getting annoying, so I go to cancel the actions. When I go to cancel I get a cat head going through the wall. No, I don;t get some freakin' cat who stands up all stretchy, I get a freicken' wall cat head.
Dink's icon was just fine, and when I angled the camera differently, he was just fine.
Is this going to affect my babies? I havn't had trouble with babies before. Is this something to do with Island Paradise. HOW DO I FIX THIS?

Hi,
I am playing the Sims 2 Double Deluxe (with the Nightlife expansion pack and the Celebration! Stuff pack). The other day I was in a neighborhood which I had created myself, then I added a new empty lot (a 3x2). I created a house there and everything was fine. I did use a couple of floors and wallpaper that I had created using Homecrafter. Anyway, I exited to the neighborhood, and the loading screen came up as usual. But when the neighborhood loaded, the lot I had made was there, but it was a light blue colour. I thought that this was strange, so I clicked on it, but nothing happened. It was as if the lot was unresponsive. Has anyone else been having this problem?

I have started to loose count of the number of times I've had to un-install and then re install my Sims 3 expansion packs in the past. I use to have Late night installed but ended up loosing interest in the game due to the bugs. Such a shame as Bridgeport was a pretty cool town from first looks and the features were awesome. Bridgeport was plagued with big glitches so I ended up un installing all the games to start again, without Late night. Games seamed to run ok with little glitches that didn't stop me playing. When I got Island Paradise expansion pack, I found the computer lagged and froze sometimes with gameplay and so I chose to stop playing that town. I don't have any of the downloaded towns or any custom content. The least glitch towns I found were, Sunset Valley, Twinbrook and Appolosa Plains. I would still get little glitches and a funny glitch which made me laugh, my sims would sometimes come out of the shower and not put any clothes on. One sim even went to work like that! A glitch that didn't affect my gameplay, just funny. Also, that Error save message that comes up after installing World Adventures, I have never even had World Adventures installed and still I have this glitch come up everynow and then. Doesn't make sense. About a month ago I got Sims3 Into the Future expansion pack and installed that onto my computer. Game seamed ok at first, but started noticing new gltiches. Sims disappearing from portrait and gameplay glitches where I couldn't click on another sim. Sims getting stuck. Very unusual glitch where a female sim became friends with a male sim and they became bestfriends with no interaction. Then I would go over to the male sims house and the girl cannot be found in his friends panel, yet when he found her at a community lot, it came up they were bestfriends. Game sometimes freeze briefly when its snowing, I turned off the snow in the options. Expansion Packs I have are: Ambitions, Pets, Showtime, Generations, Seasons, Univercity, Island Paradise, Supernatural, Into the Future and I have Mastersuite, Movies Stuff and 70s, 80s, 90s, stuff packs. I don't think its my video card, as I had a new one put in over 2 years ago that was meant to be good for running the Sims3 games. I honestly think that installing Into the future expansion pack is the culprit for why my game is playing up BIG time. Since Ive installed Into the Future I have found that my game freezes, lags and crashes ALOT now. Bugs in the game, I never observed before are now occurring and its currently rendered my save game almost unplayable. Its ridiculous that I need to save my game every five mins incase it crashes. I know that Sims has always had many glitches etc, and I have tolerated this. It is very frustrating that I am about to un install all my Sims3 games and gonna have to decide which ones are worth re installing and hope that Im not re installing expansion packs that come with unwelcome gameplay issues that cause more freezing and crashing!! I am saving up for a new PC to start playing Sims4 when it comes out, but all these glitches etc have me most concerned right now.... :(

== CAP Glitch ==
My Sims 3 CAP cursor was stuck on the color wheel! I made my sims adopt a new puppy, and since I didn't know how to change his coat, I edited him in CAP. I was changing his eye color with the color wheel when suddenly I couldn't drag the circle thing. Wherever I clicked, even outside the wheel, the circle followed. I wasn't able to click on anything, but when I hovered over a button the name popped up or whatever. I was forced to quit without saving my game. The only way I could close it was to go to task manager. This happened twice now! I have pets, late night, island paradise, university life, and 2 more stuff packs. i have a problem on Sims Freeplay. i sent one of my sims to Another Sims Town to complete a task but she's been down with that task for about a week now. Disappeared Pizza Glitch!
Ok, when i was playing Sims 3 and was using cheats (Testingcheatsenabled true) and i click the mailbox, put pizza deliver in my home, get the pizza and getting it... I saved the game and something happened. I did go to the starting menu where you can see the familys what you have done, the reason was that i try to get Lifetime Points easily. When i came back, my werewolf sim was holding something, BUT IT WAS INVISIBLE! I try to figure out how to fix it. Going back to menu didnt work... But i found the fix out. Go get the bills and then lose ur money. I have the Deluxe Edition of the original SIMS game; no CHEAT stuff. Here's the problem: there is one particular lot in one neighborhood in which there is no interaction with the outside world. No newspapers are delivered, no mail comes, no neighbors drop by, no service personnel respond... You can order pizza, the order is confirmed, but the delivery guy never shows up; ditto for maid service, etc. The problem started after I evicted one family and then moved them back in later. When they invited their friends over, the friends would accept the invitation, but not show up. Thinking the glitch was attached to that family, I subsequently created several new families and moved them in to the lot (after buldozing the house, making a new start). I have quit without saving... What can I do? The family currently occupying the lot are unemployed, (no newspapers for job search), and spend their days building their job qualifications and interacting with each other, until the food money runs out, I suppose. My step sister was playing with her teenager and her teen got caught being out after curfew three or four times and the last time she got caught she is not on her active sims anymore so is her teen in jail and is she going to come back on her active sims? My Sim had a few friends in the town and a father but there is now no longer any relationships in the bar.
