I'm wandering about this situation in sims 3: my family moved out of the one's mother's house. she is about 2 die, so i invite her over. she dies there :(. i try to drag her tombstone into the yard 'cause this is a legacy, but it disapears. is this beacuse she isn't in the household? or just a glitch, 'cause i saved before she died and keep trying but the same thing happens. also, is there a way i can find a CAS tombstone? i want to find hers to see if it just went somewhere... thx. - Honeyrose34

==Death by Magic Grave==
Is it true that the grave of death by magic is flame, the same as death by fire? ==Rename?==
IIRC, the game is more familiar with "Tombstone" rather than "Gravestone". At least in TS2. Or is it just me? ==Ghosts and Graveyards TS2==
If I create a cemetary lot and move all the graves in my TS2 neighbourhood there, by any method, will the ghosts start hanging out at the cemetary rather than the houses? Or will the ghosts dissappear from the game entirely? I used to do this occasionally but I havnt in ages and cant remember, I know I always get the "This sim has died on another lot" notification.
:It's very rare that this happens in my game. However, I think I've heard some people say that the dead Sim needs to show up as a ghost in the residential home at least ONCE before you send him to a graveyard. It's said that without doing so, it will cause the ghost to not show up. I however, never really did this. ==Missing Gravestones==
When I was playing The Sims 3, I started to grow a hobby of killing sims. I kept all the graves lined up in Pleasant Rest Graveyard, and one time I returned and some of them were not there. The next time I looked there were more gone! Where are all of the graves going? Also, I had this family, four ghosts (two adults, one teenager, one child) and two normal sims (a old man and his teenage grandaughter). The old man worked in the Military career. Then when I wasn't playing the family, he died of old age. But I had no idea where his grave went, I had checked everywhere. Soon after, the ghost child disappeared. Then one of the adult ghosts, a teenage ghost, and the last adult, leaving only the grandaughter alive. Its like the ghosts left for the netherworld or something, and where are all of the graves? :You might be able to find the graves in the mausoleum by choosing "Manage the Dead" option? But I have no clue how the graves could go missing. ::You have to die in Oasis Landing to get the holographic ones, I suppose. :::Apparently, I was wrong. I jetpack-killed my Sim via debugging in a test world, but he received a future gravestone anyway. Perhaps I need to check this again and not use debug option next time.
