:That's true, but the game is far from consistent as to whether it treats a 3.1 or 3.9 as 3 or 4. Sometimes it ignores the decimal, sometimes it goes to the nearest integer, and sometimes it goes up 1. I'm not sure it matters too much for interests except for the range between 3.01 and 3.99, but I'm not 100% sure of how it goes. I think 3.01 - 3.49 is treated as 3, but am not sure about 3.5 - 3.99. Dharden (talk) 04:00, July 17, 2014 (UTC)

Unless further evidence turns up (which seems incredibly unlikely) I can only safely assume that the game simply ignores the decimal and goes to the nearest integer below it (3.9 to 3.0 - rather than 3.9 to 4.0). -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:05, July 17, 2014 (UTC)
:Thanks. I'm still wondering about that. When you brought up this discussion back, I was thinking about editors to put the decimal value to the template parameters, and then I'd let the template decide which way it will be truncated. But since you're so sure about it, I guess we'll go with the floor. ==Any way of stopping Sim's interests from automatically changing?==
Does anyone know if there's any way of preventing Sim's interests from automatically changing by means of gaining and losing enthusiasm in The Sims 2: FreeTime? Are there any mods or tips that can prevent Sim's interests from changing without the player changing them manually? On my own PC, I don't have this issue as I don't have FreeTime installed, but I do have it installed on my granddad's PC. It's no big issue at the moment, since I have some old backups, but I know it's going to become a nightmare at some point in the future, especially once I have FreeTime installed on my PC, if I don't have anything to stop this. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 06:23, October 14, 2015 (UTC)
