"Isla" means Island in Spanish (that would be "Ilha" in Portuguese) and "Paradiso" means Paradise in Italian (that would be "Paraíso" in Portuguese). Also, the island is obviously Mexican/Caribbean themed, with most sims having spanish and aztec surnames.
