: 1: PT9 does not have to be from this galaxy. 2: it may not be cloning but time-travel. blond Jill Smith grows up slowly due to her alien genes, but also her appearance changes a lot with puberty. Until she is a black lady with grey eyes. Time Travel has already been invented, so she decides to go back into the past and join the Garden Club. Plus, i think all the garden club members have names & surnames that are from the same "pool" as the townie names and surnames.
