I'm hitting an annoying bug with the "Historical Interview" career opportunity. It instructs the Sim to travel to China and interview an elder, but when the Sim arrives in China the opportunity is immediately removed. I've had this bug occur on multiple Sims in different save games, and it only happens with this opportunity - other travel-based career opportunities work just fine. Has anyone else seen this issue and/or know of a fix? Quinne (talk) 15:43, July 20, 2014 (UTC)
:I've never heard of this bug before, but since it involves traveling, it might be better if you have Twallan's Overwatch and Traveler mods. The latter prevents most bugs caused by traveling. == Investigatory Journalist vs Investigative Journalist ==

Not wanting to start ab edit war here, but I disagree with the sic placed on Investigatory Journalist. While I don't profess to be in that field, I have several connections with those in the field. They tell me that all journalist should be investigative because they have to make sure their stories are supported by facts; however, an investigatory journalist is one who looks for the scandals and other claimed wrongdoings without always having to have truthful facts, a whistle blower or leak journalist are other like terms. So that basically means that while all journalists should be investigative, it doesn't mean that they are necessarily investigatory. – Icemandeaf (talk) 21:25, December 12, 2016 (UTC)

:I support the sic because even if the use of "investigatory" wasn't a Maxian goof, "investigatory journalist" is uncommon enough to look wrong. Dharden (talk) 05:03, December 13, 2016 (UTC)

::I'm not exactly sure if something being uncommon is merit enough for being sic, but I guess we'll need more input before a consensus can be made. – Icemandeaf (talk) 17:12, December 13, 2016 (UTC)
