Preperation

Should it be mentioned, that when a sim gets a profession, they should have little to no skills? This is because I had a Vampire sim, who had maxed out most of his skills prior to becoming a fiirefighter, but when at work, it was terribly hard to get a promotion. Developing skills had no effect, his was already close friends with his colleges, and fires rarely started each day he went to work. Should this be mentioned?Kajune (talk) 07:54, April 4, 2013 (UTC)

To my understanding, how high a Sim's skill doesn't matter to their performance. What actually raises their performance is by building and learning the required skills, so firefighter gain performance if they work out, no matter if they maximize their skill. I'm sure it works this way, because when my Sim wasn't busy at the fire station, all he did was working out and upgrading things. Nikel Talk Vote! 15:12, April 5, 2013 (UTC)
