Wait, hold on a second. I thought the discussion is about the merge of [[El Bandito]] and Raccoon, not whether it's a life state or not? We've always in the past treated "life state" as like "species of sim". That's fairly vague, of course. But if raccoons are not life states, then neither are a lot of the other life states we've always treated as life states - most glaringly the TS2 genie, but also the skunk.
