I don't have that expansion / stuff pack. So he doesn't have the Cancer zodiac sign even in-game? You've done it to other NPCs too. I only checked from SimPE though. Chances are his zodiac is assigned to Cancer in-game. :But no, it doesn't always mean Sims must have a zodiac sign, or at least to pets. I once made a pet selectable, but I didn't remember whether it was a regular wolf or a pack leader or maybe skunk. The pet's zodiac sign is nothing. Instead of a zodiac icon, it's a plain black square. This could probably happen to these super old object NPCs too.
