Simis should totally be a real name right? DarkSuicune2000 (talk) 23:11, November 30, 2014 (UTC)

In Simnation it is. If i mean i'd name my son (or even daughter) that (if i have one, even if i'm asexual and go invitrio fertilization) i easily could. BUT it's a real name in the series, a popular name in Simnation actually. It's just that all other sims that are named Simis, live in places we don't play in the series. I think it's a unisex name there. If you really want it to be a real name, what about naming your firstborn that? When they ask your firstborn about the name they can just say they're named after the father of a sims character. I'm sure moms'll name their kids weirder names in the future. Have you SEEN what the ITF townies are called? Quite a few of them have weirder names than Simis. If you have a daughter say it's an unisex name okay? Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 15:07, January 23, 2015 (UTC)

Kaiko, he means a real name in RL not Simnation, The name Simis could be a short of a female African name (Simisola) which means Rest in wealth. <span style="color:#91b60b; font-variant:small-caps; text-shadow: Silver 0 4px 4px;"> Imasexysimlover </span> <span style="color:#91b60b; text-shadow: Silver 0 4px 4px; font-size:11px">(talk)</span> 15:28, January 23, 2015 (UTC)

He could still name his firstborn Simis. Even if it's not short for nothing. It could be short for Simisola but it could even be short for Chtulimis for all we know. Or maybe not. The TS3 sim seems to just be "Simis Bachelor" no more, no less. It's not like how Bob Newbie's name is actually Robert. So yeah. In Simnation it seems cute but well it works only on a few surnames (the descriptive ones) if a sim is named Simis Wainwright or Keaton or whatever it won't work. It might work IRL on a few languages, though. Kaiko Mikkusu (talk) 06:25, January 24, 2015 (UTC)

why do you want him to name his firstborn Simis! fair enough, whether it's Simlish or real or made up. He got his answer. I just thought Simis was a awesome name. If I could get away with it I could totally use that name. I but I think that Milton and Enriqueta thought it was funny to make it "Sim is Bachelor". Also, if I have a daughter I would name it Lanayah not Simis. It doesn't sound very unisex... == Face Paint? ==

Simis has no face paint is The Sims 3 or The Sims 2 so I see no point in adding that category into the list. DarkSuicune2000 Check out my profile! 02:06, March 30, 2015 (UTC)
:I think the wrinkles on his face are a face paint. ::Simis has face paint in the Sims 2. The wrinkles are face paint. So there is a point in adding the category to his page. -- <font color="maroon">C.Syde</font> (<font color="black">talk</font> &#124; <font color="black">contribs</font>) 18:28, March 30, 2015 (UTC)
