Sinbad is a REAL NAME

:Yes, it is a real name, though it is not very common and it was probably used because it seems to be a combination of "sin" and "bad." LostInRiverview (talk)(blog) 16:22, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

:Statements like that are generally attempts to get inside the heads of the game's designers, and figure out their possible reason(s) for giving a Sim a particular name. Whether or not the name is, or could plausibly be, real has little, if anything, to do with that. Since wordplay has always been part of the series, it's not surprising that it'd sometimes figure into Sims' names. (Of course, it could also be assumed that he was given the name and tried to live down to it.) Dharden 18:57, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
